Photos from Done in a Day Projects:

"Don't say you don't have enough time to make a difference. You have exactly the same number of hours per day that were given to Helen Keller, Pasteur, Michaelangelo, Mother Teresa, Leonardo da Vinci, Thomas Jefferson, and Albert Einstein."

The Done in a Day Projects are monthly service projects bringing Kiwanians to the front lines of community services with agencies such as Catholic Charities, Community Food Bank, and Special Olympics Oklahoma. Projects are designed as a short, hands-on event.

Each Done In A Day Project is a service project designed to take only 2-4 hours depending on the nature of the project and the number of members participating. Each project is easy and has compnents designed for every ability level.

When a member completes his/her first Done in a Day Project they receive a t-shirt that proudly proclaims, "I D.I.D. It!" Then they receive a button to wear after completing their second project. The logo depicts a hand which symbolizes the act of service. The hand is open signifying our hope that each member completes a minimum of five of these projects annually.
